Born and bred in the Scenic Rim, I returned home to the Fassifern Valley in 2011 after more than 30 years working in business leadership and improvement experience across Australia. My career has included more than 15 years in executive roles across agribusiness, mining, manufacturing, and fast moving consumer goods, and I am now a self employed Business and Executive Coach.
My related service activity has included Industry Training Boards, Community Development Alliances, Director of a Superannuation Fund and Secondment as Director for the Office of Manufacturing in South Australia. I have developed proven skills to deliver change by:
- building capable connected organisations,
- providing clarity in leadership, and
- refining business processes.
I believe in strong communities, and it’s always been important to me to be an active part of my community wherever I have lived. Across the years this has seen me take on a variety of roles such as secretary and treasurer of the P&C at my children’s schools, coach of soccer teams, Church Elder, youth mentor, RFS volunteer, and Board Member and supporter for prison chaplains in Queensland.
For over 40 years my wife Denise has journeyed with me through our life’s adventures, including raising our three children. We now relish our role as grandparents to four.
